MOKAN Skates was brought into the skatepark planning process by the engineering firm Burns & McDonnell as a consultant for the planning of a skatepark under the new Buck O’Neil bridge. After the initial proposal, we partnered with the City of Kansas City, Missouri on site selection, budgeting, request for proposal development, and design team selection. Located in downtown KC, this will be a premiere skatepark of the midwest.
