MOKAN Skates is dedicated to enriching the vibrancy of Kansas City through the development of public skateboarding spaces.
Public skateboarding spaces have the ability to make a profound impact within the communities they occupy by functioning as thriving social hubs that foster strong, interconnected communities which attract a diverse range of participants in terms of age, gender, & ethnicity. This impact transcends social & demographic boundaries, creating positive effects for both the physical and mental well-being of those within the community & beyond.
It is for these reasons why we are driven to create safe, accessible, and vibrant skateboarding spaces across Kansas City.
