Harrison Street D.I.Y is a grassroots, volunteer-built skatepark that was started in 2014. Located in the Columbus Park neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, local skateboarders, of which we were a part, fulfilled our community's need for skateboarding spaces by transforming an overlooked cul-de-sac into a vibrant skatepark. This ever-evolving D.I.Y skatepark remains the cornerstone of MOKAN Skates, embodying our grassroots origins and ongoing commitment to community-driven skateboarding spaces.
